Mystic Rhythm 2017
Bolton School of Irish Dancing
Mystic Rhythm is an Irish Dancing Show consisting of dance, music and song. Performers in the show range in age from 4 years upwards. It's a great opportunity for the girls, boys and young adults of the class to experience the modern theatre and stage atmosphere. The most important part of the show is for the performers to work together as a team and to enjoy the excitement of dancing on one of Dublin's foremost and busiest stages. Highly qualified and experienced Irish dance teachers will choreograph, stage manage, direct and produce the show. We hope that you will enjoy the experience.

Fitting in Places and Spaces
Transition Year Dance Project and Performance
With funding from The Arts Council of Ireland, Dublin Youth Dance Company in collaboration with Draíocht presents this exciting and innovative Transition Year Dance Programme. Beginning with a taster workshop for TY students, a group of interested pupils from schools across Dublin 15 made their way to Draíocht to participate in weekly dance workshops from January to March 2017 under the guidance of DYDC’s Mariam Ribon and Justine Doswell.
Using themes and the work of some of Irelands most renowned Irish artists from the exhibition 30 Years Artists, Places as an inspiration and starting place, participants asked:
Where they fit in the world?
Where is their space?
Do we belong to any one place?
The programme culminates on 22 March with an exciting performances on Draíocht’s Main Stage. Young dancers from DYDC will perform alongside the Transition Year Students and invited professional guest dancers. Tickets from Draíocht’s Box Office, Tel 01-8852622 or online.

Love. Betrayal. Redemption.
Giselle is a haunting story of love and betrayal. Our modern re-telling of this romantic classic is a timeless tale about the redemptive power of love. Betrayed by Albrecht, Giselle dies of a broken heart but her spirit returns to protect and forgive her now repenting lover from death at the hands of the vengeful Wilis.
Choreographed by Ludovic Ondiviela, former Royal Ballet dancer and choreographer, this production of love that transcends death, will capture the hearts and minds of audiences today.
Ballet Ireland returns to Draíocht following its hugely successful SOLD OUT productions of The Nutcracker (2016) and Coppelia (2015).
