MAKing Art is the first in a series of exhibitions (2018-2022) aimed at children, young people and the child in us all which explores a particular visual art discipline, its materials, processes and varied manifestations. Drawing is the focus of the first exhibition in this series. It reveals aspects of drawing as a primary means of human expression. It consists of two complementary elements: Heartscapes, works by Sharon Kelly, a distinguished Belfast-based artist who uses drawing as the main form of her practice; and a selection of works from the National Collection of Contemporary Drawing presented in collaboration with Limerick City Gallery of Art.
Curated by Sharon Murphy
