DOWNLOAD THE SENSORY PACK HERE

Join the whimsical fun-filled world of Lewis Carroll and follow Alice as she chases the White Rabbit on a journey into Wonderland. It’s a topsy-turvy place that gets ‘curiouser and curiouser’ as Alice meets unforgettable characters – the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and many more. Filled with spectacular song and dance, this is a classic pantomime for all the family.

Our Relaxed Performance on Wednesday 10th January will have no sudden noises or bangs, restricted capacity, the ability to move around, softer and brighter lighting and music at a suitable level. We will also provide a chill-out area with low lighting for parents/guardians to bring children who may need to have a little break.
If you are attending this performance and would like a Pre-Visit Guide in advance from Draiocht, please email philippa@draiocht.ie or let Box Office know when you're booking on 01-8852622 (Guide available for download HERE). All tickets for this performance are €15.

The Great Gatsby (2013)

The Great Gatsby (2013)

Senior Cycle Film Screening in Association with Access Cinema

Wed 6 Dec 2017 10.30AM Main Auditorium // €5 Per Student / 2 Teachers Free per Class of 20+

The Great Gatsby follows Fitzgerald-like, would-be writer Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz, bootleg kings and sky-rocketing stocks. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio), and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy (Carey Mulligan) and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan (Joel Edgerton). It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without of the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

Whenever they make a baby show, they invite babies and their adult guest into rehearsals to be their creative consultants. We would love your involvement to make this happen!

Anna is now looking for some tiny experts to help the development of this piece at Draíocht! She needs babies aged 0-12 months (each of whom can bring one adult guest) to come along to an informal session.

There’s no charge to be involved but capacity is limited to 6 babies per session, so booking is essential through Box Office, tel 01-8852622.
