#ShowUsYourArt Weekly Art Submissions - Week 7 FAMILY

May 8, 2020

All of this time at home has meant that we’re spending more time with our families, so why not express how you feel about them through art! Use this theme to think about what family means to you. Is it your relatives? Your closest friends? A community, or group that you’re a part of? Maybe it’s a famous or fictitious family that you’re thinking about. Do you know the family tree of your pet? What about your favourite toys and teddies? Whatever you decide to create, we’re sure you’re going to put your full heart into it!

Simply take a photo of your child's artwork and email it to Paula Nolan Quinn at paula@draiocht.ie by the deadline each week. Tell us your child's first name & age (this may be posted on social media with your permission with their gorgeous artwork for all to enjoy).

We hope to have an exhibition of some of the works entered later in the year so keep your work safe!

Week 7 Theme: FAMILY

We'll pick 3 random winners and prizes include Draíocht Movie Tickets and Chocolatey Treats (delivered to you after we're all back in action!)

Week 7 Theme: FAMILY - 21 Entries

The love we felt from each piece of artwork representing family this week was incredible! Where would we be without our families? I know we all can’t wait to be reunited once all of this is over!

This week’s randomly selected winners are:

Andreea, age 9

Aidan, age 3

Anna, age 9

Congratulations! An email will be sent out with details about your prizes, which includes 2 tickets to a movie showing in Draíocht, and some sweet treats to go along with them!

Let's take a step back from looking inside for ideas, and next week look outside for our next source of inspiration!
