Draiocht News Update - 13 August 2020

August 13, 2020

The Show Must Go On!

Draíocht’s last live show was on Wednesday 11 March 2020!  180 days later, it is with great excitement, that we reopen our Main Auditorium for our September programme.

We are thrilled to welcome audiences back and to get people working again; our technicians, ushers, actors, comedians and musicians, have all been patiently waiting in the wings. We know there are still challenges ahead. But the show must and will go on!

For now, we have a maximum capacity of 50 tickets available (socially distanced). Additional customers will be placed on a Waiting List, until we can (hopefully) increase our capacity. We’ve worked really hard to put all the necessary safety protocols in place to ensure that your visit and those of our artists, is completely safe.

Our first live show is Birdboy by United Fall/Emma Martin, Co-presented by Dublin Fringe Festival and Draíocht. Performed by dancer Kévin Coquelard, this kaleidoscopic family show (for ages 8+) celebrates the power of imagination and offers a vision of hope and connection … something we all need right now.

We’ll be announcing more events over the coming weeks on our website and across our social media.
