This is Draíocht’s 6th Toddler Takeover event which celebrates the limitless imagination of the very young child and the magic that happens when it is combined with the world of artists and the arts.

This year we explore the wonderful and curious elements of earth, air, fire and water; finding the gooey beauty of clay and earth, the airy movement of dancers, gravity's ups and downs, the awesomeness of rainbow light and its sound, with mini footprints, small hidden worlds and big fun. With a combination of book-in and free drop-in events, children are invited to bring their insatiable curiosity and their adults to explore, discover new art forms, create, play, do a dance, see a dance, draw, explore and nurture creative potential, while having fun too.

Booking opens on Tue 5th May 2020, 10am, tel: 01-8852622.
Book-in workshops and shows cost €5 per child (accompanying adult free).

Sensory Friendly Family Screening

Sat 19 Sep 2020 3PM Draíocht Studio // €5 adults & children / Dur: 113 mins

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped, and no one knows why ... Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana is about an adventurous teenager who, with help from demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and save her people.

Enjoy our Sensory Screening with lowered volume, lights on a low level, small audience size, comfy beanbags and the ability to make noise and move around freely during the screening if you wish.

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been rescheduled to Sat 19 Sept (FROM 07 APRIL). We are in the process of contacting all customers to transfer tickets to the new date or arrange refunds.
