First Fortnight - Arts Bites
European Mental Health Art & Culture Festival 2019
First Fortnight Arts Bites aims to enhance awareness about mental health and how engaging in the arts can help. These workshops are free so everyone can participate and find their inner artist. Facilitated by multilingual and multicultural therapists to reach and engage a diverse group of people, workshops in dance, music and colour will be used to overcome all barriers, including language!
12 NOON – 2PM:
Mindfulness Through Art Workshop – BOOK HERE
Involves guided mindfulness meditation, visualization and creativity exercises designed to be educational, interactive, fun and easy to follow.
3PM – 4PM:
Sound Therapy Workshop – BOOK HERE
Uses vibrational sound and frequency to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace and wellbeing for better mental fitness.
4.30PM – 6.30PM:
Tango Therapy Workshop – BOOK HERE
Facilitates self-awareness and awareness of others, teaches patience, active listening, empathy, forgiveness, ability to let go, to live in the here and now, ability to make decisions and live a full life even in situations with high levels of uncertainty.

Mystic Rhythm 2019
Bolton School of Irish Dancing
Mystic Rhythm returns to Draíocht for their fifth performance, featuring young people from ages 4 and upwards this is a wonderful show suitable for all the family.
Irish Dancing both traditional and modern will be depicted through music and well-known theatre pieces. A fun and exciting performance will portray the dancers' love and enjoyment of Irish dancing. The dancers are all very talented and represent their community at many social, charity and competitive events. The teachers of the Bolton Academy will choreograph, stage manage, direct and produce the show.
