Artist Studio

Draíocht is home to a bright, spacious and self-contained Artists Studio, dedicated to supporting both established and emerging artists, curators and cultural creatives, to explore their current practice through research, studio space, exhibition, residencies, performance and public engagement. The studio residency is designed to buy time and space for artists to develop their practice in a comfortable, practical and supportive environment. This policy combined with the gallery exhibition programme encourages research and innovation in contemporary art by giving artists the opportunity to make and show new work.

Since opening in 2001, Draíocht’s Visual Artist Studio has welcomed 50 artists (and counting!) from multiple disciplines and styles. Our programme supports both established and emerging artists from or based in Fingal or Dublin 15 with a studio space to explore and develop their practice.
