When eleven year old Bram, the future author of Dracula, and his best pal Molly meet a lonely boy called Sanjit in Dublin’s Natural History Museum they decide to show him the town. In return he tells them the tale of the dread (and very dead) pirate Captain Lamprey, infamous in India for stealing a priceless treasure and hiding it in Dublin. Soon the kids find themselves following clues to find the mysterious Rajapur Ruby, and that trail starts ... at the Dead Zoo!

Alan Nolan is one of Ireland’s best-loved authors and illustrators. He is the author and illustrator of Fintan’s Fifteen, Conor’s Caveman and the Sam Hannigan series, and he is the illustrator of the popular Gordon’s Game books written by Gordon D’Arcy and Paul Howard, as well as Animal Crackers by Sarah Webb. His new ‘hysterically historical’ book, Molly Malone and Bram Stoker in Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo, the follow up to his popular novel, The Sackville Street Caper, is out now from The O’Brien Press.
