We will start the session by looking at the exhibition in the Ground Floor Gallery, 'Navigating Space' by Maria Atanacković, and noticing the patterns, shapes, and designs.
We will then create our own bold, layered textiles inspired by natural forms, geometric shapes, or your own imagination.
Using simple printing techniques such as block, stencil, and stamping, we will be printing onto canvas, to create a unique fabric design or maybe even a wall hanging.
Designed by artist Sarah Ward, our Shapes & Structures - Creative Response Space provides a relaxed environment that will help you to further explore and engage in creative play, independently, or together with an artist.
