Early year’s artist Lucy Hill will bring the current exhibition, ‘Estuary’, to life for early years children and educators from local community crèche services, through a series of explorative workshops. Together they will creatively explore art materials and prominent themes of nature and the environment, igniting curiosity and the imagination along the way. The project will include a series of workshops that take place in the Gallery and off-site in local crèche services. See and play music in a free and open environment with musician Eamon Sweeney, using gongs, chimes, bells, ocean drums, simple percussion instruments and song.

This series of individual monthly workshops is intended to allow you and your child to explore different art mediums in an open and undirected way. There will be mess but there will also be fun! Cost: €5 per child per workshop (accompanying adult is free). Box Office on 01-8852622.

These workshops are designed for children aged 2-4 years. Please respect age limits as each workshop has been designed especially for this age range. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child. These sessions are only suitable for one parent/guardian and accompanying child (without siblings).

Baby's First Xmas is a gentle magical wonderland of gorgeous harmony singing, little lights and enticing textures. Created for babies under one year old by Anna Newell and David Goodall, whose work for Early Years audiences has been seen on five continents. This brand new Xmas show promises to delight and entrance the very tiniest of audience members. Each baby can bring one adult guest with them and, to make this a very special experience, audience capacity is very limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. (max capacity 8 babies / 8 guardians per show).

Baby's First Xmas is funded by Arts Council Ireland and this programme is a partnership between the Civic Theatre, Draiocht and the Mermaid Arts Centre.
