TY Work Experience - Meet Mark

07-11 February 2023
Meet Mark! He's been working with us in Draíocht all this week, in different departments, including Front of House, Children & Youth Arts and Marketing.
Mark is also a very talented member of Draíocht's Create Dance troupe, dancing with us every Saturday.
Some Projects Mark worked on this week:
- Turning on all the lights in the building before a show
- Admitting audiences to a show, scanning tickets
- Taking photographs in the venue
- Preparing Stickers for our Youth Arts Projects
- Organising our Children's Reading Corner
- Filling Poster and Flyer holders with promotional print
- Designing a Create Dance Poster
- Assisting with the Create Dance Junior Dance Class
"This week I had a great time in Draíocht ... It was great to tidy the corner for the boys and girls .. I met lots of boys and girls when I gave them their tickets and then I scanned them before they went to watch the movie. I got to put up posters and I learned a lot about the lights ... I loved cutting the stickers .. and I helped to make a great poster with my picture on it." - Mark
