Draíocht has a range of creative programmes available for families and young people to engage with on a regular basis, all provided by our team of professional artists, each highly skilled in their own specialist areas. We want to offer every child and young person ongoing access to the arts in a safe and stimulating environment where they feel free to be their creative selves. With careful consideration of all tastes and budgets, we hope you enjoy our programme and visit us regularly.

Access

Draíocht has a number of Access Places available on all its programmes. If you would like to nominate someone to participate who may not have the fee, please contact sarah@draiocht.ie in confidence. Draíocht is committed, within its resources, to access to the arts for all.

Toddlers & Early Arts 0-4

Draíocht’s Early Arts Programme celebrates the limitless imagination of the very young child and the magic that happens when it is combined with the world of artists and the arts.

Family Events 5-12

We believe that no matter how young you are, you are entitled to a variety of arts and cultural experiences of a high and imaginative quality.

Create Dance & Sensory Friendly

We work with specialist educational partners to develop programmes especially aimed at children and young people with a range of needs.

D15 Youth Theatre

Established in October 2011, Draíocht’s highly successful Youth Theatre (D15YT) gives young people aged between 14-18 years a space to create, express themselves and explore ideas. Meeting every Tuesday evening, our 26 strong membership work weekly with our facilitators, from October to June.

Youth Workshops

Draíocht offers supervised creative spaces for thinking, writing, collaboration and rehearsal for young people within the Dublin 15 area who are interested in spending time with other creatives in a shared space.
