Youth Workshops
Draíocht offers supervised creative spaces for thinking, writing, collaboration and rehearsal for young people within the Dublin 15 area who are interested in spending time with other creatives in a shared space.
If you like strumming a chord or rapping a word, then join other like-minded young people in Draíocht for our Band and Song Support evenings.
If you are interested in gaining an understanding of each of the different roles involved in making a film, from storyboard, to script, to screen, then Fingal Film Club is for you. Funded by Fingal County Council Arts Office, Fingal Film Club offers young people the opportunity to learn all about film through a series of programmes and short courses throughout the year.
Draíocht’s ever popular Midterm, Easter and Summer Projects provide artistic experiences outside the school environment for young people aged 13-17 years, through an established programme of music, film and art projects, with highly skilled professional artists.
Are you in 5th or 6th year and planning on going to Art College? Try our free Portfolio Preparation Guidance sessions with artist Andrew Carson. Bring along your portfolio every month for review and suggestions, drawing sessions and a suggested task to complete between sessions. All levels are welcome, and these sessions are designed to be informal, drop-in sessions.
