We are delighted to welcome artist Órla Kelly to our Artist Studio for the Creative Development of The Toddler Take Over, now in its 9th year!
"The Toddler Take Over has always been a magical and creatively productive time for me, ever since we invented the first one 9 years ago. I always find that I am a little bit more creatively stretched each time and it's because of Draíocht and its people that this happens. It might not always be obvious how much background work goes into the Toddler Take Over but the team at Draíocht and the artists they engage with are champions at what they do; bringing together ideas, technical elements, materials, spaces and playfully gathering people to put things in motion, spending so much time to understand all the aspects of engaging with their youngest audiences. I deeply appreciate the space and time to contribute to the Toddler Take Over and I’m always honoured to be part of it. Draíocht is aptly named; it’s just magic to be a part of it!" - Artist Órla Kelly
