Art of the State was a unique opportunity to see a selection of some of the best of Irish art of the early 20th century.
Organised by the Office of Public Works and the Department of Finance and Personnel (Northern Ireland), this collection of fifty paintings was assembled from a variety of municipal collections, north and south of the border, including from the Niland Collection Sligo, Waterford Municipal Collection, Drogheda Municipal Collection, Fermanagh County Museum and Coleraine Borough Council.
A wonderful opportunity to view these exceptional works from artists such as Nano Reid, W.J. Leech, Andrew Nicholl, Grace Henry, Evie Hone, Paul Henry, Jack B. Yeats, William Scott, Fr. Jack Hanlon and many others.
