Neumann has specially designed a number of installation-based sculptures, which fit into some of Draiocht's most unusual architectural features. Neumann's work is large scale and made entirely from recycled materials, which he has fashioned into basic building elements, such as rope braided from shopping bags, cardboard triangles and newspaper rolls.
Cristophe Neumann graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995 with a BA in Fine Art and a Masters in Fine Art in 1997. Neumann has been based in Dublin for the past 2 years where he has continued his practice and exhibited in a number of exhibitions including Convergence 01 at Arthouse, Scoip at Siamsa Tire and in Pearse Street Station as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2001.
