Crossing Paths is a unique multi-cultural community arts initiative that took place in Blanchardstown from January 2002 to June 2002. The initiative was supported by a number of local community, statutory and voluntary groups to bring together Irish and non-Irish residents of Blanchardstown as they were ‘crossing paths’ with each other. Local artist Tony Crosbie facilitated adult and youth workshops to help participants share their stories and experiences of living in Blanchardstown. The result is a unique and wide range of art work that includes photography, painting, poetry, a video diary and a Blanchardstown Quilt which was made by many different members of the community.
