Draíocht Gallery Outdoors
Event2021 Light Up Elvin Ojuka

Light Up - Draíocht's Building Projection Commissions 2021 continue with a brand new work created by Elvin Ojuka.

"Quaranthings was inspired by all the skills and hobbies people picked up during the periods of uncertainty that we had over the last 18 months. A reminder of the things gained during this pandemic." Elvin Ojuka

Biog

My name is Elvin Ojuka and I’m a Nigerian-born artist, based in Dublin. I grew up in Mulhuddart and attended Coolmine Community School. The free time during the pandemic really gave me the chance to explore digital painting as a form of expression. Past projects include logos for Black Pride Ireland and also album artwork for the Artist Brand Juno.

Important Information

We are delighted to present ‘Light Up’, an artist led, community engagement Project, presented by Draíocht, in partnership with Fingal County Council. It sees Draíocht commission artists to create a series of images that will be projected on to our building over the darker months of 2021.

Visit us outdoors from dusk and enjoy, as our building becomes a living artwork, changing every few weeks!
