Showing over Draíocht’s two gallery spaces, 26 of the best of traditional and contemporary quilts from a number of countries were exhibited. This exhibition was an important opportunity for Irish and international artists to showcase their work together outside their own countries.
The exhibition was launched by and featured work by internationally known artist and designer of quilts, fabrics and knitting designs, Kaffe Fasset. The launch was followed by Kaffe’s lecture ‘Glorious Inspirations’, to a delighted audience of over 100 people.
