John O’Reilly

Transient is a new series of oil paintings by John O'Reilly exploring Dublin's urban landscapes.

The works focused on environments built to accommodate vehicles and transport. They are silent, atmospheric areas with unique architecture and machinery. Some of these locations are destinations for the vehicle and usually a process of the journey for the person.

John O’Reilly will also be Artist in Residence in Draíocht’s Artists Studio from July to December 2012.
