Leinster Printmakers

Working out of Clane, County Kildare the Leinster Printmaking Studio represents a group of professional artists from the wider Kildare area. Founded in 1998, it now has over 50 members and five printing presses. Using ‘green’ printmaking techniques, the studio limits potential damage to the environment and the practitioners and is the only printmaking studio of its kind in the Republic of Ireland.

This exhibition was curated by Blanchardstown artist Desmond Kenny and Carissa Farrell, Visual Arts Officer at Draíocht.

Exhibiting Artists: Jean Dillon, Deirdre Shanley, Margaret Becker, Katherine Smits, Pamela De Brí, Rebecca Peart, Niamh Moran, Eileen Keane and Catherine Mann.
