Tony Crosbie

Obsession is an exhibition of new work by Crosbie and includes drawing, painting, video and photography. It documents an obsessive exploration of the artist’s experience and understanding of his place in the world – in the past, present and future - as artist, as teacher, as father, as husband. These roles, however clichéd or taken for granted, still underline the big questions in Crosbie’s search for expression as an artist. A series of photographs in black and white and a 10 minute video work use self portraiture as the mechanism for this exploration.
