Sold OutMonk is a respected novelist and English literature professor. However when his latest book fails to attract publishers because it is not “Black enough”, the frustrated writer pens a new novel under a pseudonym, whose story includes every Black stereotype he can think of! But the plan backfires when the book is immediately snapped up by a major publisher, and Monk finds that he has unintentionally created a literary success by trading on the very cultural stereotypes he despises.
