This collection of seven short films from around the world is sure to delight and amuse our youngest viewers.

Featuring curious capybaras, chef mushrooms, colourful body cells, woodland animals, an affectionate (and very hungry) crocodile, a voiceless cockerel, and a little girl who best communicates through drawings; the films in this programme focus on friendship and accepting difference; as well as promoting cooperation and understanding.

All of these short films are dialogue free except for one film in English. These magical tales will delight children age 3+ and are a colourful introduction to the cinema experience as well as moving image literacy, perfect for those at the start of their engagement with film.

Kukeleku - 3 mins

Nugget is a rooster without a voice and, therefore, unable to sing. When he discovers a squeaky toy, he thinks he’s found the solution — but will it be forever?

How the Bear Composed a Song - 6.6 mins

A bear can be a very multifaceted and talented animal. In this movie, our bear is going to compose a song, but he won’t be alone: he has the help of many baby animals who are experts at making noise and creating sounds.

Toti - 6 mins

Two small cells, Toti and Blue, become friends and start exploring together the organism that they inhabit. They grow up together, meet other beings from their world, until an accident separates them. Toti continues her journey on her own and keeps evolving. She at last finds Blue again, only to realise that they became irreversibly incompatible.

Hunting season has begun. A family of capybaras seek refuge in a chicken coop, but the hens don't trust them. The curiosity of the youngest members of the families will create a union with unexpected consequences…

Nina's friend - 5.5 mins

Nina is a young girl that doesn’t really know how communicate with other children her age. One day she forms a new friendship in the park with Ellie. But when Nina’s insecurities around her new friendship start growing, her fears of losing her friend quickly overwhelm her and have things getting out of hand.
