Drop In SessionPhilosophy for Children | Presented by CURO
How does it feel to be as old as a stone? Is a stick still part of the tree it grew from?
Wonder together with Dr. Lucy Elvis and Philosophers from CURO who have created this gallery session for families to spend some time together to think and wonder about the artist Bridget Flannery's abstract landscapes with their children in our galleries.
We will encourage exciting and important conversations about big ideas, while awakening your and your children's imagination. This way of thinking helps us practice our ability to express ourselves and to reason. It's also fun and there will be some poetry, and bit of drawing too!
Early booking Advised through Box Office: 01-885 2622 or Online

CURO is a group of philosophers who think philosophical thinking should be for everybody. But, it’s also Latin for curiosity- which is what we’re all about!
We want to foster the special curiosity that makes us wonder about and imagine a better world. We believe that philosophical thinking can help us make a link between the questions we ask, our answers to them and our actions in the world. So, we work with communities that want to think effectively together. We help the groups we work with to find, ask, and answer the big questions that matter to them, together.
