Spring Residencies - Sinéad Kampff & Selena Quilligan Awarded Draíocht Artist Studio Residencies

Draíocht is delighted to announce its first two residencies of 2026 for its Visual Artists Studio, giving each artist 6 weeks in the space:
 

Sinéad Kampff - January - February 2026
Sinéad graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting from NCAD in 2022. She works primarily with oil paints and some other multimedia materials, her practice deals with abandonment, loss and navigating the beauty in empty space and what makes up that space.  

Selena Quilligan - February - March 2026
Selena graduated with a BA in Fine Art Printing from NCAD in 2024. In her practice, she brings Sel’s World to life. Her work is maximalist and draws inspiration from nostalgia, and girlhood to explore the bittersweetness of memory and the vivification of 2D objects.

The purpose of the Visual Artist Residency Programme is primarily to provide time and space for an artist to develop their practice in a comfortable, practical and supportive environment. This Residency consists of the use of Draíocht’s Visual Artist’s Studio rent free, and artists also receive a payment per month.
