Open Call for Graduate Artists 2023
Deadline: 22 October 2023
22-23 May 2023
"It was a great experience to spend these 2 days residence in Draíocht to get to know other artists and explore new possibilities for collaboration. The first day I spent focused time with a conductor singer, Cibele Sabioni, and together we explored our curiosities and restlessness to see how can we juxtapose voice and movement. The second day was an encounter with another Dance Artist, Yasmin Mello Cabrera, where we had an opportunity to share our practice, play and improvise together, exploring the concept of pause and movement and instant composition. This is a very rewarding time, to “just” nurture my practice with no pressure of making. Thank you Draíocht for a lovely and precious time." - Selma Daniel
