Open Session for Babies 26 Oct
littletinySPACE is an intensive interdisciplinary artist incubator around work for audiences of babies led by Ireland’s leading babytheatre maker Anna Newell.
littletinySPACE is supported through Anna’s Arts Council of Ireland’s Art Grant Funded 2022 programme of work. littletinySPACE is modelled on the Performance Corporation’s SPACE programme and developed in collaboration with SPACE facilitators Jo Mangan and Hanna Slattne with special guest facilitator, renown Early Years Research Scientist Dr Suzanne Zeedyk.
littletinySPACE brings together a diverse interdisciplinary group of artists who are well established in their own field but whose primary practice is not making work for younger audiences – and who are interested in exploring what adventures they might dream up for audiences of babies under 1 year old.
---
The first stage of littletinySPACE is hosted by Draíocht as part of their extensive artist support programme.
On the final day of this first stage, there will be an Open Session where babies under 1 are invited in to be creative consultants on this project. This open session will be very relaxed and informal and will last no more than an hour and will of course be free of charge.
