Draíocht is seeking applications from Visual Artists from or based in Dublin 15/ Fingal for a Studio Residency from 1st June-31st August 2023.
Applications for one, two or three months will be considered. The purpose of the residency is primarily to provide time and space for an artist to develop their practice in a comfortable, practical and supportive environment.
This Residency consists of the use of Draíocht’s Visual Artist’s Studio for the period above, rent free with an additional payment of €500 per month. The Studio is integral to Draíocht’s infrastructure and the Residency is integral to our programme. As such, Artists are expected to make full-time use of the Space. If an artist is not in a position to use the Studio on a full-time basis, this should be made known to Draíocht at application stage outlining the proposed usage.
Applications from artists who are from under-represented communities are particularly welcome.
The Studio is available for use 10am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday (except Bank Holidays).
Please note that this is a Studio Residency only. It does not include Exhibition or Mentorship opportunities.
