What a joy to be off zoom and back in the room for another read through followed by a Creative Team Meeting.

The Visit is being fully produced for staging this October in Draíocht, thanks to project funding from The Arts Council.

'The Visit' will also tour offsite in D15 to two community locations.

Are you ready for a very special VISIT? Some of the team behind 'YES', written by Deirdre Kinahan for our 2018 Home Theatre Ireland project, were reunited once again for the first read through of 'The Visit', which is based on 'YES', and is being fully produced for staging this October in Draíocht, thanks to project funding from The Arts Council.

'The Visit' will also tour offsite in D15 to two community locations.

Directed by Veronica Coburn, starring Mary O’Driscoll, with set and costume design by Deirdre Dwyer, sound design by Sinėad Diskin and lighting design by Eamon Fox, 'The Visit' delves deeper into Rose's story, a woman who opens up her front door to find a world of possibilities, after the death of her dominating and deeply controlling husband.

'YES' was written for Maureen Penrose by Deirdre Kinahan and Performed by Mary O’Driscoll in Maureen's home in October 2018 to an invited audience, before transferring to Draíocht's Main Stage, as part of Dublin Theatre Festival 2018. 'YES' was Directed by Claire O’Reilly.
