Primary School Guided Tours - Colours & Textures

Visit Draíocht’s Gallery, Theatre and backstage spaces - maybe sing a song on our stage. These tours will allow your pupils to explore the building and encourage them to voice their opinion about the art in our gallery, to see the inner workings of an arts centre, and introduce them to the idea of a civic space and what that means for our community. 

During October, pupils will visit ‘Unquiet Layers’ in the Ground Floor Gallery by artist Bridget Flannery and explore the many interesting elements of her arts practice and paintings, which investigate colour, form, tone and texture and represent the artists exploration, curiosity and investigation of the world around her.

Booking Notes:
Guided Tours last for approx 90 minutes.
Guided Tours are free, but pre-booking is essential.
Guided Tours are suitable for Montessori and Primary school age groups.
Capacity: Minimum of 8 and a maximum of 28 pupils per tour.
Groups must be accompanied by two adults/teachers.
Guided Tours will adapt according to availability of galleries and theatre spaces.
