Performer and writer Paul Curley and designer Ger Clancy brought BAKE! to D15 Primary Schools.
Performer and writer Paul Curley was out and about again last week, this time bringing his specially adapted theatre show BAKE, for ages 4+, to Dublin 15 Primary Schools. For some, this was their very first experience of live theatre in school!
On Tuesday he visited Scoil Bhríde Buachaillí, where he had an amazing reception from over 100 pupils!
On Wednesday he visited Scoil Bhríde Cailíní for 2 very lively shows to 100 pupils. Pictured with School Principal Paula Dargan and Julie Clarke, Youth & Education Arts Officer, from Fingal County Council Arts Office.
On Thursday Paul visited Tyrrelstown Educate Together National School with a thrilled audience of Senior Infants and 1st Class.
And on Friday Paul visited Junior and Senior Infants in Scoil Mhuire Junior for 2 very exciting shows.
Huge thanks to all the pupils and teachers for their amazing drawings and comments after the shows - we had a great time performing for you.

Bake! is a delightful play about a Baker and his Daughter and the Queen and her Son. It is set in the basement of the Queen’s palace and follows the action of the Baker’s young daughter Madeleine as she tries to prove her baking skills in preparing the birthady cake for the Royal Prince Fredrik.

This presentation of BAKE by Paul Curley was made possible by Draíocht's Theatre Artist in Residence Scheme with the support of The Arts Council and Fingal County Council Arts Office.
