14, 21 & 28 March 2023
Children's author, illustrator and comics fanatic Alan Nolan will bring your class on a tour of favourite comics from the Beano to superhero comics to manga. Jam-packed with loads of fun stories and draw-alongs, this 3-week course will show children the fun of reading comics, show them the basics of story-making, how to design their own characters, and help them to create their own comic strips!
Notes:
Each session will last 1 hour and sessions will take place in your school on 14, 21 & 28 March.
This project has been designed especially for pupils & students who may have dyslexia or may struggle with reading and writing.
Workshops are limited to 3 schools in Dublin 15, who will receive 3 one-hour workshops, weekly for 3 weeks.
Cost is Free.
Suitable for both Primary & Secondary School Students.
