Join us on an enchanting journey where imagination meets reality in MONSTERS, a captivating dance performance for children. Through lively choreography and vibrant storytelling, this piece explores the world of monsters, fables and fears. Can humans and monsters learn to overcome their fears and dance together in harmony? Filled with humour, heart and a sprinkle of magic, MONSTERS teaches us that friendship can be found in the most unexpected places.

Age Range: Senior Infants - 4th Class
Location: D15 Primary Schools
Cost: Free
Dur: 40 mins per show plus free dance workshop
Capacity: Max 80 children per show (+ class teachers)
Times: 2 shows available per school per day, 10am & 11.15am
Limited to 1 date per school initially but you can go on a waiting list for extra dates

Matt Szczerek began his Dance Residency in Draíocht in January 2024. MONSTERS has been devised and created with input, feedback and discussion from children from junior infants to 6th class across 10 primary schools in Dublin 15, over 2 years.
Commissioned by Draíocht, with support from The Arts Council and Fingal County Council.
