Join artist Lucy Hill for a fun, hands-on sewing workshop inspired by her exhibition Colourings. Bring along your own fabrics, textiles, old clothes, ribbons, buttons or other soft materials, and Lucy will help you transform them into a unique handmade softie to take home.
Using Lucy's sewing machines and creative guidance, children and their grown-ups will explore simple sewing techniques, imaginative design and playful making in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
No sewing experience is necessary, just bring your ideas and materials and enjoy creating together.

Workshops are designed for children from 3-5 years, though younger and older siblings are welcome to take part.
Please be aware that Draíocht’s Family Days are not designed for groups.
