23 Brand New Shows inspired by D15 Stories were created by 39 Artists inspired by 48 Young People from Dublin 15, Aged 2 months - 22 years performed 69 times in 23 Community Locations on the 1 Day
23 NEST Shows then came back to Draíocht's 2 Stages for 1 Children's Festival
NEST reached a total of 6,400 children, young people & adults
For NEST we also Commissioned 2 Exhibitions including portraits of all project participants
For NEST we filmed and published 23 Shows & 1 Documentary to our YouTube Channel HERE
We brought Draíocht's Dublin 15 Community Choir together for The Big Sing
We Provided Artist Support for 31 Artists with 2,597 hours of free studio space
We curated 5 Exhibitions from 14 artists across 2 Galleries
We toured Dance throughout the community visiting
Early Years Settings & Primary Schools
with Dancer Selma Daniel
And our Dance Artist in Residence Matt Szczerek
developed a new work with D15 children called MONSTERS
We Published 5 Season Brochures and sent 185,000 ezines
We welcomed over 33,500 people to 285 Shows
We launched Culture Pass to give discounted tickets to events in Draíocht to 14 - 25 year olds
We installed a brand-new Flying System
Funded By: Fingal County Council & The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under Project Ireland 2040 & Draíocht CLG
Our Youth Arts Department worked with 54 Artists to bring art to 6,564 children and young people inside & outside of Draíocht
We continued YOUR WALLS Draíocht’s Art Sharing Project for Primary Schools in Dublin 15
We celebrated our 9th Toddler Take Over Festival for children under 4 years of age
Our D15 Youth Theatre Members met every Tuesday night
Our Junior & Senior CREATE Dance Members met every Saturday morning
Then they worked together Exploring Dance & Theatre
We Won Best Not for Profit Organisation in the Fingal Business Awards 2024
And Remembering ... Cliona McNamara ...
And after all that, we’re ready to commence 2025 and do it all again...
